    • Can I pour you a glass of something lovely?

I'm Victoria Moore - Wine Editor for The Daily Telegraph, columnist for BBC Good Food magazine, occasional talking wine-head on Radio 4 and author of How to Drink (think cocktails, important G&T information, sherry wisdom and so on - file it under Self-Improvement Manuals.)

This is the home of my blog: weekly wine recommendations + chat.

Today’s negroni is made with white vermouth - and it’s English. In today’s paper (@telegraph) I’ve written about the amazing diversification and innovation going on in the English wine industry - as well as pushing the boundaries with wines they’re making cracking beers, gins, vodkas and vermouths. This is one of them, a gorgeously fragrant semi-dry one from @albourneestate - highly recommended, fantastic on its own over ice. 👉 I bought the Campari; the Tangerine Old Tom was sent to me by @sipsmith and the vermouth is also a sample.
